Artists & Writers Alliance Internationale is currently accepting listings for visual artists, writers of all genres, musicians, dancers, filmmakers and multi-disciplinary artists who are interested in connecting with other creative types to produce collaborative works of art.

Berkshire Fringe 2008 EarlyStages Fellowship Program EarlyStages is a fellowship program emerging local writers to develop new plays under the guidance of a professional mentor. A FREE concert reading of this season’s work will be presented at the Berkshire Fringe on Sunday, July 27th.

Karen Andrews wrote to Berkshire Creative, her’s what she had to say:

“I would love to see more artists create their own spaces, I see it as a very efficient and affordable way for artists to exhibit, for art-buyers to purchase art, and for everyone to have more fun and direct contact”.

Ms. Andrews is also seeking outdoor sculpture to add to her gallery as well as a individual to assist with gallery sales.

Storefront Artist Project

The Art of Joe Staton through a collaborations with the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in New York
August 2 – 31, 2008

Staton is a well-known cartoonist, and his work on Batman, Scooby Doo, Rugrats, Jonny Quest, the Wild Thornberrys, Green Lantern, E-Man and Michael Mauser will be highlighted in the exhibition. A series of related free workshops and programs will also be offered.
