Berkshire Hills Internship Program (B-HIP)

B-HIP is an intensive semester-long arts management internship program uniting the renowned cultural institutions of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, with students interested in arts administration. Interns work in a multitude of administrative capacities including development, marketing, public relations and programming – as they gain hands-on experience in the field of arts management.

B-HIP combines class work, TalkBacks, cultural outings, with an intensive internship. Students can earn 12 credits through Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Former interns have worked at institutions such as The Clark Art Institute, MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art), Berkshire Living Magazine, Shakespeare and Company, and more!

MASS MoCA seeks full-time interns for various departments. Paid interns are given $100/wk stipend and free housing within a block of the complex. We also have an academic internships where interns can receive up to 12-15 credits for full time employment that could be arranged between the applicants school and MASS MoCA. We offer internships in the following departments: Production, Performing Arts Administration, Box Office, Design, Marketing and Public Relations.
