This year, Assets for Artists; a collaborative initiative under the umbrella of Berkshire Creative, helped nine low- to moderate-income artists from across the county open state-subsidized IDAs that provide restricted grants to match the artists’ own savings when invested in first-time home ownership or targeted small business investments.
