Pittsfield Baseball Poster Design Contest
The City of Pittsfield, in the heart of the culturally rich Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is known for its rich baseball history and its creative arts celebrations, including The Art Of The Game, a two year community art project that celebrated baseball through innovative public art. This spring Pittsfield is issuing a call for creative out-of-the-box designs for a poster commemorating the 150th anniversary of the first ever baseball game played between two colleges (Williams and Amherst) in Pittsfield. The winner receives a $1,000 honorarium and season tickets to Wahconah Park. The deadline is Friday, March 27th, 2009.
