“Third Thursday, the monthly block party on North Street, kicked off its third year last night under Kool-Aid-blue skies and as the temperature hit 84.”
“Artisans from around the county lined the east side of North Street. They were part of the Berkshire Made Artisan Market — a 14-member collaboration formed earlier this year. And that’s what makes Third Thursdays an “area” celebration, said Megan Whilden, director of the city’s Office of Cultural Development.”
“It’s about local musicians, local food, local artisans,” she said. “These are the people who live here, and this is a way to celebrate each other.”
