The Mount in the running to receive Save Our Sites grant from Tourism Cares, the philanthropic and educational arm of the industry.
The Mount is the only Berkshire site to be chosen to be part of this competition, which will determined by online votes. If The Mount is selected, the funds will help with immediate structural repairs which are a continuing and critical part of the restoration of the property.
