Throughout its history, Pratt Institute alumni and faculty have produced works of art, architecture, and design that changed the world. Over the past few months, Pratt received thousands of votes to help choose the top 125 iconic works of all time. Pittsfield-based artist Tom Patti has been chosen as one of the select 125 icons of Pratt Institute and will also be featured in a special exhibition at Pratt Manhattan Gallery. The exhibition, “125 Icons: A Celebration of Works by Alumni and Faculty 1887-2012,” will be on view from November 30, 2012-January 19, 2013.
Patti, whose designs, sculptures, and glass works are internationally recognized, installed and celebrated his first public Berkshire commission at the Berkshire Museum this summer. The installations Velocity Echo and Echoes in Space can be seen in the Museum’s entry vestibule and lobby area.
